When choosing suits, there are two different kinds of fabric.  Polyester or poly is the longest lasting fabric.  It does not have as much stretch as lycra, so it might not be as comfortable, put will last longer.  The lycra suits are a more comfortable suit, as they have more stretch.  That stretch will lead to the suit stretching out sooner, and loosing it color quicker.  Below are images of the different female suit cuts.
